Puerto Rico Thanksgiving weekend November 2005

In November 2005, about 20 club members went to Puerto Rico to see some races at the Salinas track.  Pictured on the bottom left is the rear of a race car with a jet engine.  It was the highlight of the show driven by the lady shown pushing the vehicle on the right.  The ET was approximately in the 5s in the quarter mile!  It occurred at night with 2 jet cars driving side by side twice.  It was loud and bright from the afterburner.   What a once in a lifetime experience!!!
