1.  OBJECTIVES

      a)  Build a solid foundation with working capital.

      b)  Have fundraising activities to generate money for maintaining the  general fund and 

           financing or assisting with the finances of travel activities both invitational and

           non-invitational. 

 

2.  MEMBERSHIP

      a)  Attend all general meetings.  We do not require you to have a race car, just enjoy 

          the sport if you are a speed enthusiast.  Some members race their cars, some show

          their cars, and some do both. 

.    b) Pay dues and participates in every fundraising activities within reason.

     c) A courtesy call to a club official when absent from a meeting and/or fundraising

         activity.

     d) When participating in an invitational, all members are required to complete all

         activities required by the Inviter.  All participants must arrive promptly for the

         scheduled activity. 

     e) Member guests such as spouse, companion, and family members are always

         welcome to all activities.  They are entitled to discounted rates with all expenses

         covered on own.

     f)  Members that are inactive for a period of three months will result in immediate

         dismissal.

     g) A $50.00 fee will be applied to any member that quits and decides to rejoin the club.

         (Subject to the discretion of the Board)  

   

3.   PARTICIPATION

      Every member has the right to voice their opinion at meetings.  It is highly recommended

      that every member share their views within the entire body.

 

4.  Under no circumstances will be funds used to repair or purchase any parts for

     any vehicle.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

5.  ILLEGAL DRAG RACING (STREET RACING)

     The Rock City Drag Racing Club was organized to assist its members in their endeavor   

     to participate in the sport of Drag Racing.  This assistance may be in the form of moral

     support, financial, and just being there for each other as a group. The Rock City Drag

     Racing Club has no intention of determining or judging what is right for our individual

     members.  As a group and a member of  the Rock City Drag Racing Club, the Club’s

     position is that, “We do not promote, advertise, or condone any type of illegal motor sport

     whatsoever.” 

 

6.  DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

     Any wrong doing by any member will be thoroughly investigated by the Executive

     Committee. A vote by the entire Committee will decide the outcome or penalties imposed

     Any member who is removed by the Committee is no longer a part of the organization

     and will not be refunded any dues or raised funds.

 

All members are expected to display a mature and professional disposition in all group meeting and activities.
